Culture Wars – Part 4
Our Wednesday night Bible Study is entitled “Culture Wars.” The Scriptures tell us in 1 Tim 4:1 BUT THE [Holy] Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach, AMP. These are the days we are living in right now. In this series, we are going to touch on a few of the hot-button issues in the culture today.
Rick Warren put it this way – “Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone’s lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions to be compassionate.”
Part 4 – If a person adopts a false image of God, then the falsification of God’s image in that person inevitably results. Humankind’s rejection of a relationship with their Creator results in the perversion of all their other relationships. Tonight we wrap up our series by touching on the subjects of homosexuality, transgenderism, pornography, and abortion. We pray your eyes will be opened and that lives will be redeemed by this message.
