Grumble, Grumble, Grumble – Part 2

As leaders and disciples of God, we are commanded to do all things without complaining and disputing.  In this series, we are going to look at different instances in Scripture where complaining caused major problems for the people of God.  It is vital that we practice thankfulness as believers, being thankful and resisting complaining keeps our relationship with the Lord fervent and our faith strong and active.

Complaining people have taken their eyes off of Christ, thankful people keep their eyes on the Word so they are excited about God delivering them in every trial of life.

Philippians 2:14 Do all things (daily, whole) without complaining and disputing, NKJV

Part 2 – In this message, we begin to look at examples given to us in the Scripture of the effects of complaining.  As we look at the results of complaining against the Lord I know you will want to eradicate this garbage from your life.  Paul said in 1 Corinthians 10:6 that the experience of the children of Israel coming out of Egypt was recorded as an example for us to learn from.  Paul warns that the Lord was not pleased with many of them and their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.
