Grumble, Grumble, Grumble – Part 3

As leaders and disciples of God, we are commanded to do all things without complaining and disputing.  In this series, we are going to look at different instances in Scripture where complaining caused major problems for the people of God.  It is vital that we practice thankfulness as believers, being thankful and resisting complaining keeps our relationship with the Lord fervent and our faith strong and active.

Complaining people have taken their eyes off of Christ, thankful people keep their eyes on the Word so they are excited about God delivering them in every trial of life.

Philippians 2:14 Do all things (daily, whole) without complaining and disputing, NKJV

Part 3 – We are in the age of grace, so that means we can do whatever we want right?  We will find out today in part 3 of this series that grace is not a license to sin but rather empowerment to walk in Christlikeness.  Paul lays down a warning for the church in 1 Corinthians 10 that must not be ignored by the church today.  God expects His church to mature, He expects us to take the empowerment of the Holy Spirit and put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh.
