Mercy Walked In

God sent Jesus to convince you of His love for you, God raised Jesus from the dead to destroy the gap that was placed between us by sin.  In Ephesians 2:4 the Bible says that God is rich, because of His great love with which He loved us.  It also declares in 2 Corinthians 1:3 that God is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort.  The word mercy means, “leniency and compassion shown toward offenders by a person or agency charged with administering justice.”  It means, “the outward manifestation of pity, it assumes need on the part of him who receives it, and resources adequate to meet the need on the part of him who shows it.”  God is not only the Father of mercy but He is rich with it, He has an abundant supply.  In today’s Easter message Pastor, Sean takes us through some of the examples of God’s great mercy toward us, working to convince us of God’s love and mercy on our behalf.  Take time to listen and open your heart to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to minister comfort, healing, and restoration in your life.  God is not looking to destroy you, He is looking to save you!
