John 15:1-“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.  2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.  NKJV

Heb 12:11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.  NKJV

In our series entitled “Rooted,” we are going to be taking a journey through the Scripture on what it means to be pruned by the Lord.  The Lord does not prune our lives to hurt us but rather to promote the increase of the fruit we produce for His Kingdom while here on earth.  In this series, we are going to look at the importance of correction in our lives and the depth of character that it will produce.  Come join us and get ready to increase in the peaceable fruit of righteousness.

Part 3 – In our third message we begin to look at what Peter has to say about adding to our faith in this life.  He makes a promise in 2 Peter 1 that if we add to our faith certain qualities we will be neither barren nor unfruitful and that we will never stumble.  As you listen you will be challenged and equipped to walk in a greater level of character.  Let’s increase in fruitfulness!
